  1. Robin Anthony Herschel Waterfield was born in 1952 and studied Classics at the University of Manchester, specialising in ancient Greek Philosophy He lectured at Newcastle University and St Andrews before joining Penguin books as an editor Currently he is a self employed author whose output includes books on the ancient world as well as Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks.

  2. It was about 7 years ago I read this book It was so frightening for me at the time hohoo all those dirty rats, the cut hand, corpse It was alittle creepy for me at the time

  3. A solid premise and tight writing creates a suspenseful and harrowing tale of an author being held hostage by an intense fan I read this book after I d seen the movie several times and I would have to say I really like the movie which took several liberties each of which paid off and made the story all the harrowing and horribly nail biting Regardless, the book stands on its own and is rather short for a King novel while delivering a thrilling ride from start to finish.

  4. This was my first real Stephen King book I read it when I was in sixth grade and I think that people thought I was a freak Just make sure Annie isn t in a room alone with Stephen King, I want this guy to keep writing.

  5. Pretty good Didn t scare me or make me feel anything really But of course I read the shortened aimplofied version so that s to expect One day I ll read the real book and get the real experience But it was good, took me about 2 hours total to finish and was good for a boring day in school

  6. So basically a bookstore told me they had the book misery and I was so excited to buy it, turns out it is the penguin reader version But, I bought it eventually Well, it s not bad But it made me excited to read the original book, which is a good thing.

  7. It s great book I was so excited and little Scary also First Stephen s book I ve read I would like to watch this film so badly

  8. Ok so this book is gruesome I guess it was good.It wasnt bad, it just wasnt my kind of book I guess I didnt mind reading it, but I would have put it down any day for a different book.

  9. Annie in this book is crazier and crueler than one in the movie The things Annie did to Paul made me feel sick.
