  1. 2. Check out picture book reviews Perspective of a WriterThe Bunny family is growing can you lift the flaps to help them find a new burrow I picked up this book because the art was super cute to me I really like ink and line drawings and these had a touch of color in red accents I felt like my nephew could duplicate the burrows and one of the dwellings because it was detailed but simple at the same time And really the art didn t disappoint Even now I flip through the book and notice different new [...]

  3. Cleverly constructed with foldout pages and little holes windows to show glimpses into the different burrows that the bunny parents visit before deciding on a home for their family The endpages show a bunch of classified ads for different animal homes burrows of interest are circled in red These were quite funny, but did not actually appear in the illustrations in the book alas Most of the burrows are similar in shape and size, but aren t suitable for various reasons Would have been interesting [...]

  4. Grades 3 5 End papers feature advertisements for homes and rentals The bunny family circles a few and then checks them out There are some features that weren t mentioned in the ads. This would be a FANTASTIC mentor text for 4th 5th grades studying animal habitats and biomes Students could create an ad for a home their animal lives in by using research they ve collected about an animal s habitat They could also create a shopper based on their animal and describe what their animal would look for in [...]

  5. While I appreciated the idea of this book, I felt as though there was something lacking The story was not bad, but it was not great either The illustrations were also not bad, but alas, they were not great either In addition, I feel as though each of the pages within the book because the pages are fold out could easily be destroyed by children Unfortunately, I found this to be a lackluster book.

  6. The Bunny family is expanding and needs a new burrow a new home They search different burrows until the find the right one I will admit I wasn t a fan of this title right away After a closer look and reading it rather than glancing, it s a clever and fun little book.2016 storytime theme Steve LightReviewed from a library copy.

  7. The illustrations were intriguing The story less so The bunny family grows on each page until they find the perfect home.

  8. Doesn t really have a story line however the progression of mr and mrs bunny s growing family via the imagery is adorable I feel this book would have been better without the words.
