  1. Gwen Roman Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Trail of the Tudor Blue book, this is one of the most wanted Gwen Roman author readers around the world.

  2. 3 1 2 starsIt has honestly taken me over 6 months to finish this Put it down, picked it up, put it down againI had high expectations, based on a good review from Dear Author and some of my friends really liked it.I thought it was a bit better than OK.There is nothing wrong with the writing and the story gets off to an excellent start However, I never feel the chemistry that is supposedly there between Ardis and James Further, there seems to be an awful lot of coincidences part of the book reads [...]

  3. Originally posted at smexybooks 2011 03 revFavorite Quote I m not going to stand around and be lectured about my past, my family, and my options for the future by some guy who s got his morality in such a twist he can t even admit what he does for a living Art restorer Ardis Bellamy thought recovering an historic necklace from the South of France would be a piece of cake Until she is double crossed and finds herself on the run from those who will do anything to recover the necklace for themselve [...]

  4. Monica s Review It all has to do with trustTrail of the Tudor Blue is the first book of Gwen Roman that I have read There is plenty of scheming, mystery, and mistrust, but most of all a treasure hunt I will have to say that is was slow paced in the beginning, trying to figure out the story line, but once you get into this book you will not put it down until you try to figure out who is behind all of the mystery surrounding this necklace Ardis is a woman that knows her paintings and artifacts sin [...]

  5. My Review The way this story is written reminded me of a 50 s suspense movie Where the suave European local dazzles and manipulates the naive sweet heroine There were slight differencesTate isn t European but overall the movie maintained that kind of feel For me, that wasn t appealing, but if that kind of book appeals to you, you are going to love this one The book is really well written and the suspense definitely keeps you guessing It took me forever to figure out what was happening at all and [...]

  6. What could possibly be so special and important about a necklace that everyone wants to get their hands on, and some would even kill for Well, it is an old necklace, and not only that, there are rumors that the necklace carries a curse Of course people are going to be interested The necklace belongs to Ardis Bellamy s family, and Ardis will do what she can to locate the missing jewelry and get it back into good hands This won t be so easy, she comes to find out, when Ardis is taken on a wild goo [...]

  7. I didn t need to open my eyes to know the Tudor Blue had been taken I felt its absence Not in a mystical, ring of power sort of way But with a common sense understanding that no one who had been knocked unconscious awakens in possession of a million dollar necklace I love a good caper story action, romance, humor and a little mystery all rolled into one enjoyable package And that s what I got with this story Ardis, the heroine, starts off on the hunt for her stolen necklace, and as we get furthe [...]

  8. Trail of the Tudor Blue is a real thriller The non stop action kept me reading It s of a thriller than a romance, although there s enough romance to please the most demanding romance reader I loved the European scenes The story reminded me of the Cary Grant Grace Kelly movie To Catch a Thief Ardis Bellamy is an uptight art historian, but she learns to fight for what she wants the Tudor Blue Tate is very mysterious Is he a good guy or a baddie He straddles both worlds Ms Roman is an excellent wr [...]

  9. This was a fast, fun jewel thief caper I don t think the cover art matches the tone of the story at all it would have worked better with a noir ish European scene I don t get who this shirtless dude is supposed to be I pass right by books like this in the store all the time, but I received this e book for free, and I m glad I gave it a chance This is of a popular fiction type mystery with hints of romance However, there is a pretty graphic sex scene toward the end It seemed overly detailed comp [...]

  10. The description of this book got me excited to read to find out what happens I was hoping for excitement, suspense, of a connection between Ardis and Tate For me the book didn t pick up till the end of the story I am hoping the second book in the series has punch for me.

  11. A terrific read well written and fast paced Loved the characters Loved the settings I felt drawn in to, and a part of, the story Very much worth your while
