  1. Award winning, NEW YORK TIMES and USA Today bestselling author Colleen Gleason has written than twenty books for major publishers such as Penguin Group, Harlequin Enterprises, Chronicle Books, and HarperCollins as Joss Ware Her books have been translated into seven different languages.Colleen lives in the Midwest United States where she is fortunate enough to be working on her next book She loves to hear from readers via her website, Facebook, or GoodReads.

  2. Moisier s Moore Field School and the Mystery is age appropriate with good vocabulary and grammar It is a readable story however, the plot does not appear until half way into the book and seems to be somewhat of an after thought The plot then develops rather slowly throughout the book There is little character development Additionally, the dialogue between the children is stilted There is some humor that will appeal to the younger readers in its targeted audience As the book ends suddenly, I assu [...]

  3. Intrigue Antiquities Intrigue Yes Antiquities Yes History Yes Fast paced Not so much Beginning is engaging while the middle is muddle The end picks up the pace again Decent read I won t likely move on to the second book.

  7. This book takes the reader on quite the adventure As part of a new reading challenge this year, I m to read a book by an author I love, but it must be one of their books I haven t read before I love Gleason s Gardella Vampire Series, and usually stick to romance and paranormal as my go to reads This book which has sat on my kindle forever , being an adventure, thriller, mystery, political statement, mixed with a dash of sic fi, is definitely a genre that is out of my norm.It took me a while to r [...]

  8. This story is about a long lost ancient library, and a long hidden group of people who worship the earth called the Skaladeskas It was such a major departure from everything I ve read by the author, that I was uncertain what to expect I should have known better though The authors ability to draw you in with her excellent character building and descriptions is very evident in this book The story was fast paced without being rushed I loved the concept of a mother earth worshipping religious order [...]

  10. For those who like fast paced adventure laced with romance and historical mysteries, sprinkled with sci fi fantastic innovations that threaten our world as we know it, this is the book for you And Marina, Colleen Gleason s heroine, is a most unusual woman she is as strong and clever as James Bond, but she is not a spy She is sexy but not flirtatious she is only attracted to men who are her equal She has a brain, she is a universtiy professor with a deep knowledge of history and ancient manuscrip [...]

  11. THE BEGINNING OF AN ADVENTURE WORTH READINGI started this series in the middle Which induced me to go back to the beginning. And I am VERY glad, because this is an adventure story, with a bit of romance, and a lot of suspense Plus, an enormous amount of imagination, all of which combines to build a story that snapped me right out of reality. The characters were either lovable, admirable, or flat out evil, depending on the place they had in the story Marina is a phenomenal young woman, and I am par [...]

  12. 3.5 starsA young female expert in ancient manuscripts who has mad skills in climbing, caving, and flying airplanes And she has an awesome dog who is well trained and loyal A shadowy organization, connected by ancient family ties to our protagonist, that can bring nations to their knees Could be great, right Yes, it could have been, but it fell a bit short To begin with, the first third of the book or so switches POVs and locales so we get relatively little time with our kick ass protagonist Then [...]

  13. Definitely not what I expected or hoped for Uninteresting plot, mundane heroine and one dimensional villians The writing style was in need of a bit editing which tends to distract me from the story I also didn t think the author thought things out well For example, the villians were devoted to preserving the earth but their stronghold was loaded with plastics and technology Too many unnecessary characters and an oil spill plot line that went absolutely nowhere I ll be skipping the sequel.

  14. Lots of action and most of it an improbable story Well I hope so because if this action happened in the real world we are all doomed A group of Eco warriors living underground in Siberia decide to make their point about earth being destroyed by man and their action revolves around man made earthquakes with detroits auto makers firmly in the sight lines This book clearly illustrates a misguided plan by the Eco warriors and if they loved and cared for the earth it would not even be considered.

  15. Normally I am not into action and suspense novels but Siberian Treasure caught my attention It was very detailed in world building and the heroine Marina was truly likable and interesting The twists and turns keep the reader invested in the finding out what the heck is going on I also enjoyed how complex the characters relationships with each other were No quick romances or relationship fixes here I am looking forward to the next one.

  16. A good action adventure about a tribe thought extinct but just in hiding while worshipping the earth Using terrorism, the tribe attempts to save the earth from man made destruction Marina doesn t know of her ties to the tribe because of strained relationship with her father The CIA involves her in attempt to find her father, but there are others determined to get to her too Action and adventure combine for fast, gripping read.

  17. She s no Clive Cussler She s even better It seems and difficult to find a good novel to latch on to these days I think this was brought to my attention via Book Gorilla I m so glad I came across it It was a joy to read A great pace all the way through with a bit of a twist at the very end I ve all ready purchased the kindle edition of her new book, Roulette 2nd in the series which was just released today The timing couldn t have been any better Grab this one today

  18. If you like action adventure stories that read like a movie, this is the book for you Each chapter is like a scene from a movie and most of them leave you hanging Each predicament the hero and heroine get in gets increasingly dangerous This is a fun, quick read and I m looking forward to from this author in this genre.

  19. Siberian treasureWonderful book Fast paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat I an looking g forward to the next book in this series and hoping that it delivers as much as this one did.

  20. Enjoyable BookThe first book of C.M Gleason that I have read A very good story with a lot of twists and turns that keeps you wanting to turn the pages for Waiting now to read Marina Alexander Adventure Book 2.

  21. This is a great book with a great start for a new series The story line is infused with history and technology that just does not stop The character Marina Alexander provides the right background and action for a great story that you have to read.

  22. Starts slow with a lot of stories that come together in the end to lead you to the next adventure.Close to reality that makes you think about the world and what is really happening and makes you wonder could this really happen

  23. Fascinating Fascinating story Such a great idea, premise, context Ancient language, ancient culture still active and secret today with modern members Very clever, interesting, curious story WOW, this was excellent

  24. This is the second time reading this book, I love the story that much It is full of adventure and intrigue A bit of romance between our two main characters The book is fast paced and you will not be able to put it down.

  25. What a thought provoking, exciting, enthralling story This author writes a perfect book no matter what the genre I definitely recommend this

  26. The summary of this book is interesting than the novel itself, which barely gets 3 stars from me It is definitely in the style of Clive Cussler, though less professional and polished.
